Considered by many to be the best Norwegian spoon for salmon. Buch Salmon has been catching big salmon all over the Nordic region for over 50 years. The Solvkroken Buch Salmon spoon has a unique action, it can be fished in several ways and in changing conditions. Buch Salmon is available in several colors, sizes and weights, which makes it easy to adapt to the size and current of the river. The spoon has a distinctive action that the salmon simply finds terribly annoying - and then attacks! It also works perfectly in shallow water and on ponds and lakes it can be a secret weapon for pike fishing!
Fishing Tips: Try to mix things up with different weights, sizes and colors. Buch Salmon O/BL/FL is great for strong currents, but also when the fish does not react to classic color patterns in the cleanest rivers.
The company
Solvkroken was established in Skien in 1930. Spesial no. 40 immediately became a great success, and is still one of our best-selling saltwater jig lures. The business expanded and needed larger premises, and in 1954,
Sølvkroken moved to the centre of Arendal. Sea fishing became increasingly popular, and in 1976, the company built new and larger premises at Stoa industrial park right outside Arendal, where we now are located.
Solvkroken is currently a modern enterprise with approximately 60 employees. It is a leading total supplier of angling equipment. We are still manufacturing our lures and jigs at Stoa. Several of our employees are keen
anglers who continually develop new and improved products. The production of lures is, to a large extent, still a handicraft where decor, eye, hook and split ring are assembled manually.
