Solvkroken
The company Solvkroken was established in Skien in 1930. Spesial no. 40 immediately became a great success, and is still one of our best-selling saltwater jig lures. The business expanded and needed larger premises, and in 1954,
Sølvkroken moved to the centre of Arendal. Sea fishing became increasingly popular, and in 1976, the company built new and larger premises at Stoa industrial park right outside Arendal, where we now are located.
Solvkroken is currently a modern enterprise with approximately 60 employees. It is a leading total supplier of angling equipment. We are still manufacturing our lures and jigs at Stoa. Several of our employees are keen
anglers who continually develop new and improved products. The production of lures is, to a large extent, still a handicraft where decor, eye, hook and split ring are assembled manually.
