Shimano Pitbull PE 4 is a low stretch, smooth and soft PE braid made of a weave of IZANAS fibers. This is a new Shimano braid with unique features. This 4-strand braided line has a denser core which results in a fast sinking line and offers anglers a number of advantages. The line is heavier and therefore less prone to wind when thrown and sinks faster the first time it hits the water. As a result, the angler controls the bait faster. In the diving phase, the line descends faster than a regular braided line, which makes fishing easier, especially on lighter rigs at greater depths. Shimano Pitbull PE 4 braid has high strength and abrasion resistance. The braid is braided in the "VT" method, the fiber is woven evenly at all angles, resulting in a smoother surface, reduced diameter and increased throw distance. In addition, the smooth surface causes less friction on the guides, minimizes noise and, thanks to the low stretch, provides increased sensitivity.
